Why the name Juno?

The clinic is named after the Roman goddess, Juno, of fertility and childbirth. Thousands of years later, a vital component, a receptor, was discovered on the surface of the human egg that is essential for the male sperm to bind to the egg and fertilize it. Without this protein, sperm binding and fertilization of the egg cannot take place. This vital component was named Juno.
