eIVF is an easy to use, secure internet-based application that allows patients to be more informed and involved in their fertility journey. At Juno, we strongly believe that patients should play an active role in their own treatment and that empowering our patients to do so will improve patient care and treatment outcome. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines patient empowerment as “a process through which people gain greater control over decisions and actions affecting their health” which leads to an improvement in the quality of healthcare. Therefore, healthcare needs to advance from the paternalistic model where doctors decide for their patients to a model where patients are more informed, responsible, autonomous and competent partners of their care.
Research shows that empowered patients are not only significantly more satisfied, but they also are more engaged in the process, have better communication with their doctor and will more likely to adhere to the treatment plan. All these factors play an essential role in the success of the treatment.

Going on the Juno fertility website you will find on the right top corner of the home page a link directing you to the patient portal.
Logging for the first time:
The first time you log into the system using the username and password that we gave you, the system will ask you to verify certain information for security reasons:
If you enter any of this information wrong, you will be given two more chances to enter the correct information.
***New users can skip this step for two weeks. When the two weeks have expired, the skip button will be disabled, and users will have to verify their identity.
The system will then prompt you to create a new password. Passwords must meet the outlined criteria. We recommend that you write this password down so that you do not forget it!
Once you have created a new password, you will be asked to log out and then log back in with your new password.
In order to receive important notifications from your Doctor’s office by either text message or voice message, you will be prompted to select which number you want to receive notifications on.
Then you will be prompted to login and complete your patient profile, then agree to the terms and conditions. Once completed you will proceed to the home page where you can view upcoming appointments, see any pending notices.
